Buns with Ham and Green Onions

Lush, soft and aromatic buns with ham and green onions.

Ingredients

For the test:

  • Milk – 160 ml
  • Sour cream – 120 ml
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Sugar – 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Dry yeast – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Ham – 100 g
  • Green onions – 10 pcs.
  • Flour – 600 g

Besides:

  • Egg (for greasing buns) – 1 pc.
  • Cereal mixture (for sprinkling) – 2 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil (for lubricating the mold) – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk, 0.5 tablespoon. tablespoons of sugar and leave for 10 minutes. A “cap” should form on the surface of the milk.
  2. Break an egg into a bowl, add salt and the remaining sugar, beat.
  3. Add melted butter and sour cream, stir.
  4. Pour in milk with yeast, mix.
  5. Cut the ham into cubes and add to the dough.
  6. Add finely chopped onion (only the green part).
  7. Mix.
  8. Gradually adding flour, knead the dough.
  9. The dough should be soft. Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and put it in a warm place without drafts.
  10. After an hour, the dough will come up, increase in volume by 2-3 times and will be ready to go.
  11. Place the dough on a cutting board and cut into equal parts according to the number of rolls.
  12. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Roll into small balls of the dough and place in a baking dish in a circle. You can use a different shape or place the buns on a regular baking sheet. Cover the buns with a towel and leave for 15 minutes to approach.
  13. Then brush the buns with a beaten egg.
  14. Sprinkle with cereal mixture or just sesame seeds on top.
  15. Put in an oven heated to 180 degrees and bake buns with ham and green onions for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
  16. Buns with ham and green onions are very soft, airy.
