Delicious buns made from yeast dough stuffed with quince, which will be an excellent substitute for apple pies. Delicious pastries for children and adults.
Servings: 12
Cook: 3 hours
Ingredients
For the dough:
Flour – 500 g
Egg – 1 pc.
Milk – 250 ml
Sugar – 50 g
Salt – 1.5 teaspoon.
Dry yeast – 1.5 teaspoon.
Butter – 50 g
For filling:
Quince (large) – 2 pcs.
Sugar – 0.5 cups
Egg (for greasing) – 1 pc.
Directions
Knead yeast dough from the indicated ingredients and let it rise in a warm place for 1.5-2 hours. I used a bread maker for kneading and lifting – it’s quick and convenient.
Grate quince (I did not remove the skin) and add sugar. Stir.
Divide the dough into 12 identical pieces.
Roll each piece of dough into a flat cake and place the quince filling on top of them.
Form round buns.
Brush the buns with an egg and sprinkle with sugar. Send in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
Cool the finished buns with quince and serve with tea or milk.
