Ingredients

  • Butter – 250 grams
  • Sugar – 250 Grams
  • Flour – 250 Grams
  • Baking powder – 8 Grams
  • Eggs – 4 Pieces
  • Lemon zest – 1 Piece
  • Vanilla extract – 2 Teaspoons
  • Strawberry – To taste
  • Jam – To taste

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need.
  2. Mix sugar and butter (the latter should be at room temperature).
  3. Beat with a mixer for about 5 minutes. Then add eggs one by one, beating for a minute each time.
  4. Whisk flour with baking powder. Gradually add it to the dough without stopping to work as a mixer.
  5. Grate the lemon zest, add it along with the vanilla extract to the dough.
  6. Grease the mold with butter and sprinkle with flour, cover the bottom with parchment. Lay out the dough (it turns out to be very thick), smooth it out with a spatula.
  7. Bake in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Check the readiness with a toothpick, do not overexpose the biscuit. If it is browned, then it is ready. Let it cool on a wire rack.
  8. You can smear the cakes with strawberries and jam, and on top with buttercream.
  9. The finished butter biscuit is very juicy and tender.
