- 1 medium white cabbage
- 1 kg potato (s)
- 200 grams bacon
- 2 tablespoon oil, neutral
- Caraway seed
- Paprika powder, I use pimenton de la vera here
- salt and pepper

- Remove the outer leaves and the stalk from the cabbage and cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Cook in salted water for 5-10 minutes until soft.
- Peel the potatoes and cut into bite-sized cubes. Cook in salted water for 10 minutes. Drain both and place on the oven`s drip pan. Chop the bacon and add it. Add the oil and season with salt, pepper, paprika and caraway seeds. It is best to mix thoroughly with your hands. Season to taste and, if necessary, add seasoning.
- Place in the oven and bake at 200 ° C for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- A simple and inexpensive autumn and winter dish that tastes good without any additional additions. If you like, you can also serve it with sausages or Wienerle.
