  • 12 large potatoes, floury cooking
  • 50 g butter
  • 100 g cheese (Emmentaler), thinly sliced
  • 200 g herb butter

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel and cut the potatoes in a fan shape. The best way to do this is to put them on a tablespoon and cut down to the edge of the spoon with a sharp kitchen knife. This prevents the potato from being accidentally cut all the way through.
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and brush 6 of the potatoes with it. Fan the potatoes slightly and place pieces of cheese in the spaces between them. Fill the other 6 potatoes with half of the herb butter in the same way. Place all potatoes on a baking sheet and bake in the oven on the middle rack for about 1 hour at 200 ° C. To serve, add 1 cheese and 1 herb butter potato to each plate and garnish with the remaining herb butter.
  3. A mixed salad or warm roast beef goes well with it.
