Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled nutmeg, grated
  • salt

For the dough:

  • 2 medium egg (s)
  • 25 g butter, soft
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 35 g wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon, leveled paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 1 pinch nutmeg, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cauliflower thoroughly and cut into florets. Cook these in water with salt and the nutmeg until they are al dente, remove with a slotted spoon and let steam.
  2. Beat the eggs with the butter until frothy. Clean the garlic clove, dice it into small cubes, mash it with the tip of a knife and add it. Add nutmeg, paprika, salt and flour and stir to a smooth batter.
  3. Roll the slightly cooled florets in the dough until everything is evenly distributed over the florets. Arrange these side by side on a greased tray.
  4. Put the tray in the oven, preheated to 200 ° C top / bottom heat, on the middle shelf. The baking time takes about 15-20 minutes until the florets are lightly browned.
  5. It is served with meat and fish of all kinds, or it is served only with dips of all kinds.
