Cauliflower in Cheese Batter in the Oven

An interesting way of cooking cauliflower, laconic in its simplicity and accessible to everyone in terms of ingredients! Cabbage inflorescences are first boiled, then baked in cheese breading. As a result, they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Delicious!

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower – 1 pc. (about 600 g)
  • Hard cheese – 70 g
  • Bread crumbs – 50 g
  • Dried garlic – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Disassemble the cauliflower head into inflorescences.
  2. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil, add salt and dip the cauliflower inflorescences in the boiling water.
  3. Boil the cauliflower within 5 minutes after boiling the water again, then discard in a colander and let the water drain and the inflorescences to cool.
  4. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater. Add bread crumbs, ground paprika, and dried garlic to grated cheese.
  5. Stir the cheese breading ingredients until evenly distributed. Break eggs into a bowl and shake them with a fork.
  6. Dip a few cauliflower florets in the egg mixture. Then roll them in the cheese breading.
  7. In this way, prepare all the cauliflower florets by spreading them out on a baking sheet lined with parchment as the breading signs of progress.
  8. Place a baking sheet with cauliflower in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 20 minutes.
  9. Transfer the cooked cabbage in crispy cheese batter from a baking sheet to a plate.
  10. Cauliflower in cheese batter baked in the oven, ready to serve.
