Cut the cauliflower into florets. Crush the cumin seeds.
Heat the oil in a wok and fry the ginger in it. After a good 30 seconds, add the crushed cumin seeds, chili powder and cumin powder and fry briefly. Then stir in 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon salt and add the cauliflower.
Sprinkle the cauliflower with garam masala and mix everything together well, the cauliflower florets should be evenly coated with the oil and spices. Cover and cook the cauliflower over low heat.
