Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 lemon (s), grated zest
  • 300 grams flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 250 g marzipan raw mixture
  • 200 g morello cherries (lass)
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the pan
  • 150 g chocolate couverture, dark, as desired

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Add eggs, salt and lemon zest and stir in well. Sieve the flour and baking powder over it, crush the marzipan mixture with your fingers, add and stir everything well. Finally, carefully fold in the well-drained cherries.
  2. Pour the dough into a greased and crumbled loaf pan (28 cm) and bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° C for 70-80 minutes. Let cool in the mold, then turn out and cover with liquid couverture if you like.
