Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken leg (s)
  • 500 g noodles (Kritharaki)
  • 500 g natural yourt
  • 1 bunch spring onion (s)
  • 1 liter vegetable stock, a little more if necessary
  • 1 shot white wine, as required
  • 1 sprig rosemary, fresh
  • some stalks parsley, chives, basil, oregano, savory
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Make a strong marinade from olive oil, salt, pepper and paprika and brush the chicken drumsticks with it.
  2. Brush a large baking dish or the drip pan from the oven with olive oil. Put in the chicken drumsticks, add the rosemary sprig and roast in the oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
  3. Add 1 liter of vegetable stock and a dash of white wine and distribute the Greek noodles between the chicken legs. Cook for another 20 minutes. If necessary, add more vegetable stock.
  4. Chop the herbs, chop the spring onions. Mix the yogurt with the herbs, salt, pepper and spring onions. Put the yogurt in the baking dish over the pasta. Turn the temperature up to 200 degrees and bake for another 10 minutes.
