Instructions

  1. Peel the apples, cut them in half horizontally and remove the core with a ball drill without creating a through hole. It should remain a closed floor.
  2. Mix the sugar and cinnamon. Place the apple halves with the cut surface facing up in a well-greased baking dish. Sprinkle with 4 tablespoons of cinnamon sugar. Pour the cream into the hollow of the core until some of it flows over the apples into the mold. Bake on the middle shelf in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes.
  3. Then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar over it and bake again briefly until the sugar is caramelized.
  4. Serve hot, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you like.
  5. Tip: The apples should neither disintegrate nor get too brown, so adjust the cooking time if necessary.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
