Classic Hummus

The classic recipe for the Middle Eastern “Hummus” sauce from chickpeas (chickpeas).

Cook: 10 mins

Servings: 2-4

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas “Chickpeas” – 400 Gram
  • Tahini – 1/2 + 1 Art. spoons
  • Garlic – 3 Cloves
  • Lemon – 1/2 Piece (juice)
  • Ground cumin – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Ground cumin – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 Pinch (to taste)
  • Cold water – 3-5 Art. spoons
  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon the spoon

Directions

  1. Tahini is widely available these days, so no excuses!)
  2. Place 5 cups of chickpeas in a blender. Pour 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon of Tahini there.
  3. Chop 4 cloves of garlic. Add the juice of 1/2 lemon, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin and pour 5 tablespoons of water.
  4. And finally “BLEND IT!” – mix everything until smooth. Done.
