Ingredients

  • 400 g cod fillet (s)
  • Sage, fresher
  • 1 lemon (s), add the juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 50 g bacon, smoked
  • 1 clove garlic

Instructions

  1. Wash and pat dry the cod fillet. Drizzle with the lemon juice and season with salt.
  2. Cut the bacon into slices and fry in the olive oil over medium-high heat until crispy, about 5 minutes. Remove the bacon from the pan.
  3. Add fresh sage leaves to the same pan. Place the cod fillet on top of the sage leaves, season with pepper, and fry over medium heat for 3 minutes. Carefully flip the fillet and fry for another 3 minutes until the fish flakes easily. Top with the crispy bacon and serve with the sage leaves facing up.
