Corn Bread with Spicy Cheese

Cornbread has an unusual specific taste and aroma, and spicy cheese and pepper give it a special piquancy.
Ingredients
- Spicy cheese – 250 g
- Wheat flour – 1 1/2 cups
- Cornmeal – 1 1/2 cups
- Sugar – 1/4 cup
- Baking powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon.
- Sweet corn (grains) – 1 cup
- Green chili (finely chopped) – to taste
- Small onion (chopped) – 1 pc.
- Large egg – 2 pcs.
- Milk – 3/4 cup
- Melted margarine or butter – 4 tbsp
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Grease a metal baking sheet measuring 32.5×22.5 cm with oil. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater (you get about 2 glasses).
- In a large bowl, combine the flour and the following 4 ingredients.
- In a medium bowl, combine cheese, corn, chili, onion, eggs, milk, and melted margarine. Mix with flour mixture. Mix well.
- Place the dough on a prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cut the finished cake into 15 pieces, serve warm.
