Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 350 g flour
  • 110 g suar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 175 g butter, room temperature
  • Pack baking powder

For the filling:

  • 500 ml apple juice, 100% fruit content
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 packs pudding powder, cream flavor
  • 1 glass applesauce

For the glaze:

  • 1 packet powdered sugar
  • water, and / or lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Knead the ingredients for the dough together. If the dough still sticks to your fingers, add a little more flour. Grease the springform pan (26 or 28) and press the dough in, but leave something for the top. Make an edge (about as high as the edge of the shape).
  2. Then bring the apple juice to the boil with the sugar. Stir in pudding powder mixed with a little apple juice and briefly bring the pudding to the boil (it thickens immediately). Stir in the applesauce.
  3. Pour the mixture onto the dough and place the flat-rolled remnants of the dough over it as a blanket.
  4. Bake the cake at 180 degrees top / bottom heat for 45 minutes. The dough should be golden yellow. Let cool in the springform pan.
  5. When the cake is cold, stir in the icing and pour over it thickly. Put the cake in the fridge. Do not remove it from the mold until it has cooled well and is ready to be served.
