Ingredients

  • 800 g potato (s), cooked and sliced, possibly from the day before
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 cucumber (s)
  • 40 g butter or mararine
  • 30 grams flour
  • 0.5 liter ½ broth or water
  • salt and pepper
  • vinegar
  • 0.5 ½ cup sour cream or sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon dill, chopped tips

Instructions

  1. Sweat the finely diced onion in the fat, dust with flour and roast. Pour in the broth and stir vigorously. Simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring regularly.
  2. In the meantime, peel the cucumber, cut in half lengthways and scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Cut the cucumber into 1cm wide strips or cubes. Add the cut cucumber strips to the sauce and simmer for another 20 minutes, don`t forget to stir in between.
  3. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a strong dash of vinegar. Add the potatoes and heat in the sauce. Now stir in the sour cream and finish the whole thing with chopped dill.
