Instructions

  1. Cut the cucumber and onions into slices, mix well with the other ingredients in a bowl and let steep for 24 hours. Fill into prepared glasses, close and boil for approx. 3 minutes. Tip: For boiling down I always use a large saucepan in which I put a sponge cloth, put the glasses in and fill up with enough water until the glasses are almost 1/4 in the water. Then carefully bring the water to the boil with the lid closed and cook on the low setting for 3 minutes. Then I put the pot closed on the stove and let the glasses cool down in the pot.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
