Stalk the currants, wash and then puree. Bring the water with sugar to the boil, add the currants and bring to the boil again. Strain everything, preferably first through a coarse and then through a fine sieve. Put it cold and a delicious soft drink is ready.
Tip:
For larger quantities of berries, I only use half the amount of water, (due to lack of space) fill hot into clean bottles, so it will keep for a long time. Then you only have to dilute the contents of the bottle 1: 1 with water.
