Ingredients

  • 100 g double cream cheese or sour cream
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 orange (s), grated zest it
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 2 teaspoons, leveled baking powder
  • 6 half peach (s)
  • 2 tablespoon almond (s), peeled, chopped
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Mix the cream cheese, salt, butter, orange peel, sugar and eggs well. Gradually stir in the flour mixed with baking powder into the mixture and place the dough in a buttered ovenproof dish (22 cm diameter). Cut the peach halves into wedges and place on the dough. Scatter the almonds on top.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° for about 60 minutes. After baking, let the cake cool in the pan. Dust with icing sugar and serve in the tin.
