Ingredients

  • 4 small flat bread (s) (pita)
  • 2 packets doner kebab, frozen or fresh
  • 200 g cheese, rated
  • 1 cup sour cream (herb sour cream)
  • 250 g tomatoes, passed
  • 30 g tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the kebab meat according to the instructions on the packet. Dice the onion, add and fry briefly. Add the strained tomatoes, tomato paste and herb sauce and simmer everything briefly. Add the grated clove of garlic. Stir in 50 g of the grated cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. Now divide the bread horizontally and line the bottom of a baking dish with it. Spread a layer of meat on top. Spread another layer of bread and a layer of meat and finally sprinkle everything with the rest of the cheese.
  3. Bake in a hot oven at 180 ° C (200 ° C top / bottom heat) for approx. 20 minutes.
