Ingredients

  • 500 g sausae (sucuk, Turkish arlic sausae)
  • 1 flatbread (s)
  • 500 g natural yourt
  • 3 tomato (s)
  • 3 onion (s), red
  • 1 cucumber (s)
  • 1 head salad your choice (e.g. iceberg lettuce)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Wash or peel the tomatoes, onions and cucumber and cut into thin slices. Clean the lettuce and cut into strips.
  2. Stir the yogurt until creamy and squeeze the garlic. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Pour all ingredients into bowls and place on the table.
  3. Peel the sausage and cut it diagonally into thin slices, fry it in a pan or on the grill until crispy.
  4. Quarter the flatbread and roast it either in the oven or on the grill according to the instructions on the packet.
  5. Put the fried sausage in the flatbread and now everyone can put together their kebab with the other ingredients as they wish.
  6. Tip: The ingredients can be changed or expanded according to your taste - e.g. with coleslaw, hot peppers or sheep`s cheese.
