Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 375 ml milk
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 5 roll (s)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Mix together flour, salt and milk, add eggs.
  2. Beat the dough until bubbles form (the dumplings are nice and loose)
  3. Cut the rolls into small cubes and roast in the fat until golden brown. Mix the toasted bread cubes into the dough.
  4. Cut out the dumplings with a larger spoon and pour them into boiling salted water, cover and simmer for approx. 25-30 minutes.
  5. When the dumplings have grown large and float on top, they`re done.
  6. Quantity makes 4 dumplings
