Dumplings Soup (in Broth)

Pelmeni is the simplest semi-finished product that every housewife should have in the freezer. Since it is dumplings that help us out when we don’t want to cook anything or when unexpected guests come. Alternatively, if the dumplings themselves are not interesting, you can cook a simple dumplings soup.

Ingredients

  • Bones (chicken) for broth – 150 grams
  • Medium onions – 1 pc.
  • Dumplings – choose the amount yourself; for example, I cook 25 pieces. for one serving
  • Eggs – I use half an egg for one bowl of soup
  • Cilantro greens – 1 small bunch
  • Bay leaf – 3 pcs.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Allspice peas – 5 pcs.
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black or freshly ground pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Let’s start cooking the soup with the broth. Wash the chicken bones and put them in a saucepan. We will send peeled onions and garlic to them, add bay leaves, and allspice peas. Put the pot on the stove and cook the broth.
  2. After that, I send the broth to the refrigerator, and when I need to cook the soup, I pour out the required portion and cook.
  3. Put dumplings in boiling broth and cook until tender. It will take about 5 minutes, but if your dumplings are large, it may take longer. Approximately 7-8 minutes.
  4. Simultaneously with the soup, boil the egg until a cool consistency.
  5. When the egg is boiled, peel it and cut it in half.
    Wash the cilantro and chop finely.
  6. Season the dumplings soup with salt, pepper, cilantro, mix and remove from the stove.
    Pour the soup with dumplings into plates, and put half a boiled egg in each portion.
