Ingredients

  • 6 dumplings (potato), prepackaged or homemade
  • 6 slices ham, raw or cooked
  • 250 g cherry tomato (s)
  • 1 can tomato (s), chopped
  • 1 cup cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Thyme, dried, rubbed
  • Basil, dried, rubbed
  • Mozzarella, or other cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the potato dumplings according to the instructions on the packet, but leave them 5 minutes less to stand.
  2. Mix the chopped tomatoes with the cream, season with thyme, basil, salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.
  4. Rinse the dumplings, take them out of the cooking bag and wrap each one with a slice of ham. Fix the ham with toothpicks. Fry in a pan and place in a small baking dish.
  5. Sear the cherry tomatoes in the pan and add to the dumplings. Pour the sauce over it and put cheese on top.
  6. Baked in the oven at 190 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
  7. Without ham, the dumplings can also be served as a side dish, for example with poultry.
