  • 2 egg (s), whisked
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoon corn grits
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • Vegetable fat for deep-frying, approx. 2 kg

Instructions

  1. Squeeze a lemon. Cut the chicken into 4 parts. Mix the lemon juice vigorously with salt and freshly ground pepper, marinate the chicken in it for at least 2 hours.
  2. Then roll the chicken pieces (drained slightly) all around, first in the flour, then in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs that have been mixed with the corn grits. Then fry in the frying fat at 180 ° C until golden brown.
