Ingredients

  • 300 grams flour
  • 150 g natural yourt
  • 0.5 ½ cube yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ sugar
  • 30 ml water, lukewarm
  • 60 ml oil, e.g., sunflower or rapeseed oil
  • 1 egg (s), whisked
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Parsley, fresh, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder, hot pink
  • 130 g feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoon diced ham
  • Sesame seeds for sprinkling as desired

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in lukewarm water. Put the flour in a bowl, make a hollow in the middle, pour the yeast mixture into the hollow, cover with the rest of the flour and leave to rise for 15 minutes.
  2. Then add the yoghurt, the oil, the half beaten egg and the salt, knead into a smooth dough and leave it covered for 1 hour.
  3. For the filling, crumble the feta and mix with the diced ham, the paprika powder, the chopped parsley and the remaining half of the beaten egg. Divide the dough into 12 portions, roll them out in an oval shape, put one tablespoon of the filling on each, fold the sides and roll up. Whisk the egg yolks and brush the dumplings with it. Spread some sesame seeds on the coated dumplings and bake them for about 20 minutes at 180 ° C.
