Filling for Cottage Cheese Dumplings

The famous Ukrainian dumplings with cottage cheese are so tasty that you can forgive this dish for its excessive calorie content. Let’s prepare a curd filling for dumplings.

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese – 400 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Butter – 0.5 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Prepare products for making dumplings filling. Leave the oil at room temperature to soften
  2. Cottage cheese for dumplings should be non-acidic, not too dry, uniform in structure, without hard lumps. And to prepare curd filling for dumplings it is very easy to grind the curd as carefully as possible.
  3. Mix with eggs and salt. to stir thoroughly.
  4. Mix with butter. Grind until smooth.
  5. The filling for dumplings with cottage cheese is ready! Put one spoonful of filling on each piece of dumplings dough. From this amount of filling, approximately 80 dumplings are obtained. Bon appetit!
