Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 0.5 ½ cube yeast, fresh
  • 250 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 50 g butter, liquid
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For the filling:

  • 130 g dark chocolate
  • 30 g butter, liquid
  • Flour for rolling
  • Fat, for the baking sheet

Instructions

  1. For the dough, mix the yeast with the milk. Put the flour in a bowl with butter, sugar, eggs and salt. Pour in the yeast milk and knead everything into a yeast dough until it separates from the edge of the bowl. Cover and let rise for about 1 - 1.5 hours.
  2. Then knead the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. For the filling, break the chocolate into 16 equal pieces.
  4. Roll out the dough about 1cm thick on a little flour. Then cut into strips about 5 cm wide and cut the strips into pieces about 10 cm long. Brush one half of the dough pieces with a little melted butter, place the chocolate on the other half of the dough.
  5. Beat the buttered half of the dough over it so that a small edge (1cm) is formed. Place the dough rolls side by side on a greased baking sheet with the seam down, slightly overlapping. Cover and let rise for about 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 225 ° C. Brush the rolls with the remaining butter, bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
