Fish in a Squash

Delicious, juicy fish, immediately with a pleasant vegetable side dish. It is baked in the oven.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Hake (you can take other sea fish or fish fillets) – 800 g
  • Medium zucchini – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic – 4-5 cloves
  • Tomato ketchup – 6 tbsp
  • Hard cheese – 50 g
  • Fish broth (from fish seeds and trimmings) or water – 150 ml
  • Seasoning for fish – to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Parsley and dill to taste
  • Flour – for breading
  • Vegetable oil – for frying and greasing
  • Lettuce leaves – for decoration

How to cook zucchini with fish:

Directions

  1. Peel the fish, cut into pieces, remove the bones.
  2. Salt, pepper, and season the resulting fillet. Dip the fish in flour and fry in vegetable oil.
  3. Wash the courgettes and cut lengthwise into 0.5 cm thick slices. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and line the zucchini in one layer. Grease the zucchini with oil and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Zucchini does not need to be baked. They should only soften.
  4. Grease each zucchini slice with ketchup and sprinkle with crushed garlic. Put a piece of fried fish on the edge of the slice and roll it up.
  5. Chop rolls with toothpicks.
  6. Put the finished rolls on a greased baking sheet covered with parchment or foil. Lubricate the rolls with a little ketchup on top. Pour out the fish broth, salt to taste, cooked from the seeds, and hake scraps. If there is no broth, then add salted water.
  7. Sprinkle with grated cheese and put the zucchini with fish in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 30 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle the finished rolls with chopped herbs.
  9. We spread the fish in a zucchini on a plate on lettuce leaves. Do not forget to take out the toothpicks.
