Ingredients

  • 120 g tofu or quark
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 pinch (s) vanilla pulp
  • 1 teaspoon flowers (edible wild flowers, e.g. violets, daisies, dead nettle or sweet clover)

Instructions

  1. Mix the tofu with honey and vanilla until frothy. This mixture will keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for approx. 2 weeks. Serve the spread with fresh flowers with crispy baked goods.
  2. This basic mixture can be wonderfully varied with fruit puree, herbs or finely grated vegetables. There are no limits to the imagination when it comes to spices. Sweet versions taste wonderful with cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, allspice. Spicy variants are particularly fine with herbs from Provence or curry mixes.
