- 8 fish (s) (green herrings)
- butter
- Flour
- salt and pepper
- possibly almond (s), sliced

- Wash the herrings, scale them, gut them and cut off the head and tail. Dry the fish well and season with salt and pepper.
- Roll in flour and slowly fry in butter over low heat. Roast the almond leaves in the butter and serve them with the herrings.
