Ingredients

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 300 grams flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 1 kg fruit (e.g. sour cherries, apricots, apples), fresh
  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g suar
  • 100 g butter, cold
  • bitter almond or cinnamon
  • Icing sugar for dusting
  • Grease for the tin

Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare the fruit. To do this, wash and stone cherries or peel, core and cut apricots or peaches.
  2. Mix the softened butter with the eggs and sugar until creamy. Mix the flour with baking powder and stir in. Grease a baking sheet. Pour the batter on top and smooth it out (I gently rock the baking sheet back and forth). Cover the dough with the fruit and gently press the fruit in.
  3. Make the crumble: Use 200 g flour with 100 g sugar, 100 g cold butter and bitter almond oil or cinnamon to make crumble (best done by hand). Spread the crumble on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 45 minutes. Then let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
