Ingredients

  • 500 g pork belly or pork neck, prepared ready to rill

For the marinade:

  • 50 ml soy sauce, sweet (Ketjap Manis)
  • 50 ml chilli sauce, sweet and hot Asian
  • 2 clove (s) garlic, pressed through
  • Salt or maggi or teriyaki sauce
  • pepper
  • Spice mixture, (grill spice) your choice

Instructions

  1. The quantities for the marinade are approximate and can be changed according to taste. Mix all ingredients for the marinade together.
  2. Put the meat in a freezer bag, add the marinade and knead the bag a little with your hands. Let it go overnight, or at least one morning. Dab with kitchen paper before grilling.
  3. Since the marinade contains sugar because of the chili sauce, grill the meat, turning it regularly, and stick to it. Otherwise it will be black!
  4. Bring the marinade to the boil briefly on the stove and serve with the meat.
