Garlic Dumplings Soup

You don’t need anything special to make a delicious soup. I recommend the soup with garlic dumplings – it’s both easy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 4-5 pcs.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Meat broth – 2.5 l
  • or water – 2.5 l
  • Vegetable oil – 30 g
  • Salt – 2-3 teaspoon
  • Pepper – 1 pinch
  • Greens – 10 g
  • For dumplings:
  • Chicken egg – 2 pcs.
  • Greens – 1 bunch
  • Garlic – 1-2 cloves
  • Flour – how much will it take
  • Salt – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. The ingredients for the dumplings soup are in front of you.
  2. Peel and wash potatoes.
  3. Put potatoes in boiling broth (or water). Cook for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Peel and chop the garlic finely.
  5. Sift flour. Wash greens and chop finely.
  6. Break two eggs into a bowl, add herbs and garlic. Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
  7. Gradually add flour and knead the dough like on dumplings. Leave in a bowl and cover with a towel.
  8. Peel and wash the onions and carrots. Dice the onion and grate the carrots.
  9. Divide the dough into 3 parts. Roll each piece into a long, thin sausage, cut into small dumplings.
  10. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Place the onions and carrots. Fry, stirring occasionally, over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
  11. When the potatoes are almost ready, pour out the dumplings. When the dumplings come up, add the frying. Cook the soup until the potatoes and dumplings are cooked for 8-10 minutes.
  12. The soup with garlic dumplings is ready. Add greens.
