Ingredients

  • 2 bulbs garlic
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, fresher
  • 25 g flour
  • 200 ml chicken broth
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 tablespoon crème fraîche
  • 2 tablespoon parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. The garlic cloves are boiled in water for a good minute and then the skin is removed. Sweat the halved mushrooms in the butter for 5 minutes and then remove them from the pan. The liquid remains in the pan.
  2. Put thyme and garlic in this pan and simmer covered for 15 minutes. Then add flour and cook for 1 minute. Add the stock and milk, stirring constantly. Let simmer for another 10 minutes. Finally add the mushrooms and after 1 minute fold in the creme fraîche. Season with salt and pepper and serve garnished with parsley.
  3. Don`t worry: Despite all the garlic, it doesn`t taste at all intrusive!
