Ingredients

  • 600 grams flour
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 4 tablespoon water
  • 250 g butter

For the filling:

  • 400 g hazelnuts, round
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 bottle bitter almond flavor
  • 2 egg whites
  • 4 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Make a shortcrust pastry from the first 6 ingredients, divide into two parts and refrigerate.
  2. Mix the ingredients for the filling until you have a smooth, spreadable mixture. Roll out the shortcrust pastry (possibly between cling film) and coat each with half of the mixture. Roll them together and bend them into a wreath. Bake on a greased baking sheet in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 45 minutes. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
