Helgoland Grog

Summary

Heat the rum, water and red wine in a saucepan until just before boiling point. A light foam layer forms. The mixture must not boil, however.
Wash 2 grog glasses with hot water, add the rock candy and lemon wedges. Pour the hot grog over it and serve immediately.
