Ingredients

  • 250 g minced beef
  • 3 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 0.5 ½ bell pepper (s)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 bay leaf, small
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), cooked whole
  • 2 teaspoons caraway seeds, ground
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 pinch fennel seeds, ground
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, noble sweet, if possible Hungarian
  • 3 potato (s), peeled and diced
  • 750 ml broth
  • 100 ml red wine
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Fry the meat in hot oil, add onions and paprika and continue frying. Add the garlic, the spices and potatoes. Simmer gently for about 1 ½ hours, stirring occasionally. Salt and season with red wine
  2. The soup tastes best when warmed up.
