Ingredients

  • 4 beef steak (s), approx. 3 - cm thick
  • 4 tablespoon pesto, red
  • 4 tablespoon pesto, green
  • 4 clove (s) garlic
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 bowl cherry tomato (s)
  • some parmesan
  • some olive oil for frying
  • some butter for the pan
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the steaks and dry them well. Melt butter in a baking dish and preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat. Peel and chop the garlic and onion and mix with the pesto.
  2. Fry the steaks in a pan with olive oil for about 1 minute on each side. After frying the steaks, place them in a greased dish and season with salt and pepper. Now brush with the mixed pesto. Cut the cherry tomatoes into small slices and add to the pesto. Salt and pepper again.
  3. Put the steaks in the hot oven for 14-20 minutes - depending on whether you like them bloody or more through. Sprinkle with a little parmesan just before the end.
  4. This goes well with ciabatta or baguette.
