Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet (s), cut into pieces
  • 1 bell pepper (s), cut into narrow strips
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), finely chopped
  • 2 medium carrot (s), cut into narrow strips
  • 2 teaspoons pepper, (Szechuan pepper)
  • 10 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 clove (s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 5 tablespoon soy sauce, sweet (Ketjap Manis), alternatively normal soy sauce
  • 6 tablespoon sesame oil, toasted
  • 400 g noodles, Japanese somen or alternatively Mie noodles
  • Oil, (peanut oil)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a little salted water for 3-5 minutes, drain and set aside. Toast the sesame seeds in a pan without oil, then set aside.
  2. Let the pieces of meat simmer in a saucepan with plenty of slightly simmering salted water.
  3. Heat the peanut oil in a pan, add the paprika, carrots, garlic and chilli and fry for 5 minutes, then add the sesame, Szechuan pepper, Ketjap manis, the chicken and the sesame oil and stir-fry for another 3 minutes. Possibly add a shot of water.
  4. Serve with the pasta.
