Ingredients
For the dough:
- 250 g butter, or mararine
- 250 grams sugar
- 4 egg (s)
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 320 g flour
- 12 tablespoon milk
- 2 tablespoon rum
- 1 packet baking powder
For covering:
- 200 g almond (s), sliced or chopped
- 150 g butter
- 130 g suar
- 4 tablespoon honey
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon
- 8 tablespoon cream or milk
- 1 ½ kg apples, preferably Boskoop
- 1 lemon (s), juice it

- Peel, core, quarter and cut the apples into small pieces. Drizzle with the lemon juice.
- Make a batter from the ingredients. Pour the dough into a baking sheet lined with baking paper, spread the apples on it and bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees top-bottom heat.
- In the meantime, bring the butter, cinnamon, almonds, honey, sugar and cream to the boil in a saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Distribute the almond mixture evenly on the pre-baked cake and bake for another 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees top-bottom heat.
