Kefir Smoothie with Melon and Honey

Melon is rarely used in dishes, as this rich and aromatic fruit “takes away” all the attention and interrupts the taste of other ingredients. It is this property of melon that is perfect for a kefir smoothie – just one slice for a large glass of kefir, and it feels like you’ve eaten a whole melon!

Servings: 2
Ingredients
- Kefir – 400 ml
- Melon – 150 g
- Honey – 20 g
For the filling (optional):
- Fresh mint – 1-2 sprigs
Directions
- Peel the melon and cut it into large cubes. Set aside a couple of melon slices for serving. Place the melon slices in a blender bowl. Chop the fruit until puree. Add kefir and honey to the blender bowl.
- Whisk again on a high-speed blender until smooth. If you decide to add fresh mint or basil, you can do this at this stage and then interrupt again at high speed.
- The original melon and kefir smoothie are ready. Pour it into glasses or goblets and serve. Garnish with melon slices and mint leaves if desired.
- This kefir smoothie with melon and honey perfectly saturates and quenches thirst.
