Curd Smoothie with Kefir, Banana and Honey

Thick kefir smoothie with banana and cottage cheese – a refreshing drink, a light breakfast, or a healthy snack “in one bottle”! The base of kefir and cottage cheese gives the smoothie lightness and satiety, and bananas and honey – sweetness and delicate aroma. Try it!

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Banana – 220 g
  • Kefir – 250 g
  • Cottage cheese – 150 g
  • Honey – 20 g (or to taste)

For decoration (optional):

  • Fresh mint – 2-4 leaves

Directions

  1. It is best to choose a ripe banana, you can even with dark spots on the peel. The riper a banana, the sweeter and more aromatic it is.
  2. Peel the banana and cut it into thin slices. Set aside 3-6 banana slices to garnish your finished drink, if desired.
  3. Place the curd in a blender bowl.
  4. Add banana chunks and half honey (about 1 teaspoon).
  5. Pour in kefir.
  6. Whisk the mixture on high speed for about 1.5-2 minutes, until smooth. Taste and add more honey to taste if necessary.
  7. Curd smoothie with kefir, banana, and honey is ready. Pour the drink into glasses and serve, garnish with banana slices and mint leaves if desired. The drink turns out to be quite thick, it can be eaten with a spoon or drunk through a wide straw. Bon Appetit!
