Ingredients

  • 200 ml kefir, (fermented for 2 days)
  • 2 tablespoon herbs, fresh, chopped (chives, parsley)
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 tomato (s)
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • possibly cayenne pepper
  • possibly garlic clove (s), approx. 1/2 (finely grated)

Instructions

  1. Anyone who has a milk kefir culture can ferment the milk for 2 days.
  2. Also works with bought kefir, but you should take less of it because it is more liquid.
  3. Mix the kefir with the finely chopped herbs.
  4. Chop the peppers, tomatoes and the onions very finely or if you like it even finer: mix. Add to the kefir and season with salt, olive oil and possibly cayenne pepper / garlic.
  5. Also tastes great as a dip with hearty dishes, vegetable strips or fresh bread.
