“Ladybugs” Snack on Chips

A festive option of melted cheese and egg snack served on chips. To make the appetizer look spectacular, we will decorate it with “ladybirds” from cherry tomatoes and olives.

Ingredients

  • Chips (large, even) – 9 pcs. (30 g)
  • Processed cheese – 100 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Cherry tomatoes – 6 pcs.
  • Olives – 4 pcs.
  • Fresh parsley – 0.25 bunch
  • Salt – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. Prepare all required ingredients.
  2. Hard boil the egg. To avoid the appearance of a gray rim around the yolk, boil the egg for 8 minutes after boiling, and then immediately cover with cold water.
  3. Grate the melted cheese on a coarse grater.
  4. Peel the boiled egg and also grate it on a coarse grater.
  5. Finely chop the parsley, leaving about five sprigs for decoration.
  6. Combine cheese, eggs and herbs. Add mayonnaise and salt.
  7. Mix.
  8. Cut the cherry tomatoes from which we will make the bodies of the “ladybugs” in half lengthwise.
  9. Cut three olives in half lengthwise, then cut in half across to form the heads of “ladybirds”. The remaining olive will be needed to create black dots on the bodies of the “ladybirds”, cut it into very small pieces.
  10. Put 1 tablespoon on the chips. a spoon of cheese and egg mass.
  11. Form “ladybugs” on top of the chips with cheese and eggs. To do this, combine halves of cherry tomatoes with quarters of olives. Decorate the center of the plate with parsley and add two more “ladybugs” there.
  12. Using a toothpick with mayonnaise, paint the “ladybugs” eyes. Then dipping small pieces of olives on one side into mayonnaise, attach them to the bodies of “ladybirds”. Finish the composition with parsley leaves.

Serve the snack on chips to the table immediately!
