Ingredients

  • 100 g pasta, your choice
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 2 red pepper (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 125 g beans, reen, also frozen
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 300 g minced beef
  • 1 teaspoon ajvar
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ tomato paste
  • 400 g tomato (s), chunky
  • 80 g cheese, rated, up to 30% fat
  • Paprika powder
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Cut the onion and bell pepper into cubes, mash or squeeze the garlic and break the beans into bite-sized pieces. Then heat the oil in a coated pan and fry the beans in it for about 3 minutes. Add onions, diced paprika, crushed garlic and mince and fry everything for about 10 minutes. Add ajvar, tomato paste, tomatoes and 50 ml water and simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, paprika powder and oregano. If you like it spicy, you can also add a chopped chilli to the pan.
  3. Drain the pasta well and pour the sauce into a baking dish. Sprinkle the gratin with cheese and bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C (convection 180 ° C) on the middle rack for about 25 minutes.
  4. If you don`t like beans, you can also replace the beans with zucchini. That tastes great too.
