Ingredients

  • 100 g lamb`s lettuce
  • 1 mango (s)
  • 250 g breakfast bacon
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled pepper, black
  • 2 pinch (s) chili powder

Mango Lamb`s Lettuce with Spicy Bacon and Onion Dressing

Instructions

  1. Wash the lamb`s lettuce thoroughly and drain in a colander. Peel the mango with the peeler. Then use a knife to detach the pulp lengthways from the core.
  2. Cut the pulp into pieces and place in a salad bowl. Squeeze out the pulp remaining on the stone by hand over the salad bowl.
  3. Cut the bacon into small cubes and place in a small saucepan, heat it up and let it turn to glass. Then add the olive oil and the onion and let sizzle for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, add pepper and chilli and the balsamic vinegar. Mix everything well and pour into the salad bowl over the mango pieces and mix.
  5. Finally, carefully mix in the lamb`s lettuce and serve.
