Ingredients

  • 2 packs puff pastry (a 50 g) from the refrigerated shelf
  • 200 g marzipan raw mixture
  • 1 tablespoon apricot jam
  • 50 g butter or mararine, soft
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream or condensed milk
  • 30 g almond (s), (flakes)
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Soften the marzipan mixture in the microwave and mix it with the apricot jam and butter to a smooth mixture.
  2. Spread on a puff pastry sheet. Place the 2nd plate over it and press it a little hard at the edges.
  3. Now cut into strips about 1.5 - 2 cm wide on the broad side. Tie each strip of dough into a loose knot. Place these on a baking sheet rinsed with cold water and brush with cream / condensed milk. Sprinkle with the flaked almonds. Bake with top / bottom heat for approx. 15 minutes at 200 degrees.
  4. Then dust with powdered sugar.
