Meat “Bread” of Beef and Veal

Meat “bread” can be made from any meat, you can also experiment with spices. My next culinary experiment was a success. She baked their beef and veal meatloaf.

Ingredients

  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Onions (chopped) – 1 pc.
  • Garlic (chopped) – 2 cloves
  • Dry white wine – 3/4 cup
  • Beef + veal 50/50 (minced meat) – 500 g
  • Italian sausages  – 400 g
  • Lemon zest – 2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) – 1/4 cup
  • Fresh bread (sliced) – 120 g
  • Milk – 1 glass
  • Large eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Worcestershire Sauce – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 2.25 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Parmesan cheese (shredded on a grater) – 1/2 cup
  • Liquid honey – 2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Pour onions and garlic into a preheated pan, fry until the onions are golden brown, then add wine to the pan and cook for another 4-5 minutes, until the onions are soft and the wine has evaporated.
  2. Pour the milk into a small bowl and soak the bread in it.
  3. Gut the sausages from the shell. In a large bowl, combine the sausage meat, minced meat, frying, eggs, bread, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, cheese, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  5. Cover a heat-resistant form about 22×32 cm in size with parchment and put the minced meat in it. Smooth the minced meat, forming a rectangle measuring 10×25 cm. Grease the top with honey and put in a preheated oven, bake the meat “bread” for 40-55 minutes, the meat thermo should show 80 degrees.
  6. Take the finished meat “bread” out of the oven, let it cool slightly, and then remove it from the mold and cut it into portioned slices. Serve the meat “bread” immediately.
