Mexican Fajitos with Beef

Mexican fajitos with beef is a rather spicy and very hearty dish, reminiscent of shawarma in appearance. Marinated meat is stewed with vegetables and served in pita bread. Try it, you will like it!

Ingredients

  • Beef – 500 Grams
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 Piece
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Tomato – 2 Pieces
  • Chili Pepper – 1/2 Piece
  • Salt – To taste
  • Sugar – 1 Teaspoon
  • Wine vinegar – 1
  • Soy sauce – 1
  • Cumin – 1 Teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 100 Milliliters
  • Garlic – 3 Cloves
  • Lavash – 2 Pieces

Directions

  1. Cut the beef into thin strips.
  2. Put the meat in a deep bowl, add chopped garlic, salt and pepper on top. Fill with lemon juice, stir and leave to marinate for 1-2 hours.
  3. Cut the Bulgarian pepper into strips.
  4. Cut the onion into half rings.
  5. Mix pepper and onion, add sugar and salt, pour with wine vinegar and soy sauce. Leave it on for 1 hour.
  6. Fry the marinated meat in vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes.
  7. We cut the tomatoes arbitrarily.
  8. Add tomatoes, cumin and chili to the beef. Simmer over medium heat for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Cut the lavash so that you can wrap the prepared ingredients in it. Put the meat with tomatoes on a part of the pita bread, put the pickled onions and peppers on top. Sprinkle with chopped herbs.
  10. We wrap the pita bread like shawarma.
